Big thanks to Violet Blue for listing Do Not Disturb: Hotel Sex Stories (click to read the table of contents/intro) as one of the top 10 sex books of 2009 in the San Francisco Chronicle! I, um, am a fan of hotel sex, and look forward to having more of it in 2010.
4. Do Not Disturb: Hotel Sex Stories Edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel.
In a hotel room, anything can happen — and in Bussel’s good-to-the-last-page collection of superb erotic fiction, anything does happen. Quick and dirty, or just dirty and fun, all of the stories are complete tales of hardcore trysts, thanks to Bussel’s expert curation and the authors’ remarkable talents. Fantastic.

These sexy (save for, imo, the beach ball) hotel beds are from Townhouse in Miami, via Hoosta magazine, which says:
Townhouse is a cool hotel, fun and sexy, located in 50 meters from Miami Beach, just a step away from the fashion boutiques and the restaurants of Lincoln Street and Ocean Drive. Designed by a French artist qualified of the School of « Beaux Arts », India Mahdavi, here is a contemporary hotel in the pared-down design which will enrapture those who want to stay in Florida in a refreshing, young and amusing place.

Schecky’s listed their favorite bars for bathroom sex, and guess what? 2 hotels made the list.
The Waldorf-Astoria Cocktail Terrace
301 Park Ave.
(49th & 50th Sts.)
Midtown 212.355.3000
The very best thing about this grand ole dame of a hotel is that anybody and we mean anybody can stroll in off the street and wander around the lobby. If you and whoever you’re with gets the urge, walk in, go to the ladies room off the lobby floor, the bathroom can serve as your setting. Once past the bathroom’s sitting area, each stall has a lockable door and is the size of a studio apartment. The walls are so thick; it’s like being in a soundproof room. That’s right; no one can hear you scream.

I’m on the lookout for a NYC hotel to have a hot date with my guy. We’ll be booking it soon, but this deal from the W Hotel caught my eye:
W has so many sensations to tempt the two of you, even if you never leave your room! Just ring Whatever/Whenever® for in-room couple’s massages, a romantic dinner brought right to your door, wuv potion cocktails and beyond. Looking for something really risqué? If staying in NY, take advantage of an exclusive W offer for a custom portrait by NY Magazine’s “Best Nude Photographer,” Brian Leighton.
The idea of both of us getting a massage that leaves us totally liquid and melty and unable to move from our bed, then the person leaving us to go at it sounds…perfect!

So I think this is a great idea – check out the contest at Desires Hotels and good luck! Feel free to take me with you if you win.
